Greetings Compadres, its me askbob.  I’ll let you know a little about myself.  I’m 20, a sophmore in college going for finance.  I’m a computer tech at my school and I also own two small businesses on the side.  One is a computer repair business and the other is a used book distribution center.  I’ve been investing my money in a Roth IRA and have made 56% returns to date.  It all kinda started when I was working at McDonalds, my dad lost his job, and my managers were nasty.  I had to clean up someone’s shit that was smeared all over the bathroom walls.  I did it so i could keep a job, pay for some family shit, and pay for my girlfriend.  Well I learned that I wanted to do whatever it took to put up with as little shit as possible, both metaphorically and realistically.  So i quit eventually, got a computer job, opened my own computer business, spent about 4 hours every night for 6 months studying investing online at google and trying to figure out the most efficient way to invest for retirement.  Later I also opened my second used book business.  In real life, I’m loud (working on toning it down a bit), I’m sarcastic, I do weird shit just to get a reaction out of people, I have a nice girlfriend, I tell people what I honestly think no matter if its rude or not.  I give my opinion no matter if you ask for it or not, I curse a bit, I enjoy playing SNES (donkey kong country ftw), I also play halo with my roommates, I didn’t try at all in highschool, now that I’m in college i study all the time and I got a 4.0 last semester (woot), I’m a Christian (JC rocks), I’m a moderate (right of center)  Yes i’m for green energy, i’m down with civil unions, for stem cell research, against abortion after 21 days after the birth of the child (except in the cases of rape, incest, to save a mothers life (3% of abortions)), against socialism, against national healthcare, against farm subsidies or any other economically inefficient forms of taxation/subsidation, against owning the auto industry or benefiting it with tax dollars.  I like dogs not cats. I prefer sweets to salts.  and I think that chocolate tootsie pops should be eliminated from the face of the earth, i like the other flavors though i wouldn’t mind if they replaced raspberry with another flavor but thats optional.

    so now I’m writing opinion pieces.  So you might wonder what I’m going to write about.  Well here’s a list of a few topics that I’ll be constantly updating and writing about so brace yourselves.  I’ll be writing about computers, investing, the economy, politics, capitalism, my personal political views, my take on current events, college life, some great cheap college recipes, some things every college freshmen should know before they head to school, my list of recommended books, my list of must visit sites on the web, my top list of tv shows/cartoons, I’ll make fun of some people on DDO that I think are currently acting like idiots, and just some other random odds and ends.  All in all I hope you enjoy my articles, I’ll write about one a week.  The rest of the time I’ll edit/improve the article.  I get about 30 to 45 mins a night to write so yeah.
