Believe it or not there’s nothing more filling than a huge steaming plate of pasta with some good pasta sauce on top. Also there’s nothing cheaper than a plate of pasta. For me its always under 66 cents but this may vary depending on where you live.

You may think that ramen noodles, mac and cheese, spaghettios are cheaper than a heaping plate of pasta, but in reality they really aren’t.

Additionally like canned food pasta is incredibly easy to make and has little to no prep time at all.

Directions:
1. bring a pot of water to a boil
2. Add 1/3 of the box to the water (boxes come in 1 lb or 16 ounces)
3. Add a teaspoon or two of salt/oil to prevent the noodles from sticking to each other or the pan
4. Stir once or twice to break up noodles and make sure they don’t stick to pan
5. Test one noodle to firmness liking
6. Put pasta sauce in bowl, warm up for 1 min 10 seconds (can vary depending on microwave)
7. Strain pasta with a collander
8. Add pasta to plate, pour warm sauce over top
9. Add a shake of parmesan, add a shake of basil
