Political Tests
I’ve always found these enjoyable. Here’s a collection and commentation on each. If you have suggestions, post them in the comments.
The Moral Politics Test- A great test with various options regarding one’s perspectives on various topics.
The World’s Shortest Political Test- A quick test that classifies you as “Conservative”, “Liberal”, “Libertarian”, “Centrist”, or “Statist”. It is likely biased towards Libertarianism.
3rd Party Matchmaker- A moderately short test that identifies your “compatibility” with 7 different political parties.
Ideology Selecter- A superb test that shows your agree-percentage with 10 different ideologies.
Political Compass- A thorough test that plots you on a political graph where you can then compare yourself to famous politicians.

The Political Compass was decent. The rest of them are really too short to be very valid.

I like political compass. The rest are a bit too unclear for my taste.

I would like more thorough tests like Political Compass because I have the time to do them and because they are very accurate.
However, what I really treasure is detailed results, like the Moral Compass test which assigned me a political party, a presidential candidate, an ideology…

If you’ve got the extra time, why not devise one yourself? You could make a lengthy and accurate one devoid of the biased questions that seem to plague most others.

But doesn’t that require coding knowledge? That wasn’t in Friedmans book, so no hope for WJM.

I start learning code next year, so I’ll be able to make my own test.

I would be willing to help with that, wjmelements. I know a thing or two about programming, but not much about internet applets.

What does Paleo-Libertarian mean? How can I get a picture on this site?
August 8, 2009 - 6:15 pm
If you guys had the time to put one together I think that would be great. We could post it on here for DDO to take.

Are you really too lazy to google, ccstate4peat?
MTGandP: What exactly do you know?
August 10, 2009 - 10:52 am
I don’t trust google with anything having to do with principles or state of mind. I still don’t know how to get a picture on this site and I know I can’t google that.

Yes its probably best if you don’t trust a search engine, it would probably end up giving you definition and save us the time of having to type “Define paleo-libertarian” into the search bar. I’m glad we agree that using the worlds most commonly used search engine is a bad idea.
As for your picture, i’m currently unsure although you seem to have gotten it.
